Today is a big day in Listowel. After 25 hard years of trying, our local Tidy Town Committee has steered Listowel to well deserved success.
It’s called the Tidy Town competition but keeping the town tidy is just a small part of what this competition is all about and Listowel has worked really hard in all areas of the brief. Today’s accolade is the reward for all that hard work and attention to detail.
This afternoon, before the big homecoming, I took a stroll around our lovely town and here are the photographs I took. The strong afternoon sun made light conditions a bit difficult.
